4 citizens in Khuzestan province are detained by Intelligence Office agents

Human Rights in Iran – On Monday April 13th 2020, following a rush by Intelligence Office agents in Ahwaz, Ali Reza “Oday” Kroushnat and Zia Kroushnat were detained and transferred to an unknown location. Also Abdol Khalegh Jenami and Mahdi Aboudi, two citizens in Shadegan Province were detained by Intelligence Office agents in this city.

According to the report of Human Rights in Iran- On Sunday April 2020, Ali Reza “Oday” Kroushnat and Zia Kroushnat, two citizens living in Ahwaz were detained by Intelligence Office agents in this city. Also on Thursday April 9th 2020, Abdol Khalegh Jenami and Mahdi Oboudi, two citizens living in Shadegan were detained without any charge and there is not any information about their condition.

Ali Reza ” Fadi ” Kroushnat, son of Abdol Aziz, a graduate in law, M A degree, and Zia Kroushnat, son of Feisal, were detained without any explanation of their accusation. No information is obtained from these persons’ state and location.

Intelligence Office agents in Shadegan city, arrested Abdol Khaleq Jenami, son of Jader, aged 29, and Mahdi Aboudi, son of Razzagh, aged 16 without any charge, and there is not any knowledge of the situation of these two citizens

Human Rights in Iran had released a report on Thursday April 9th 2020, in which had described the detainment of Adi Khanafreh, a 16 years old citizen residing in Shadegan around Khuzestan.

Also the individuals arbitrary detainment and the lack of justification about their accusations at all time of detention and the inaccessibility of the accused to a lawyer are instances of violation of International Instrument of Human Rights, Article 9 Universal Declaration of Human Rights and also International Covenant of Civil and Political Rights, adopted on December 16th 1966.

The issue of arbitrary detainment of persons without the justification of their charges, and the culprits’ inaccessibility to a lawyer are some cases of violations of Principles noted in International Instrument of Human Rights, Article 9 of Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and Article 9 of International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights adopted on December 16th 1966.

The individuals’ accessibility to the right of a fair judgement by an impartial court is one of the emphasized cases in International Instrument of Human Rights, Article 10 of Universal Declaration of Human Rights, as well as in Article 14 of International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights adopted on December 16th 1966.
