Five citizens in Sanandaj and Urmia sentenced to 5 years in prison

Human Rights in Iran – a few days ago, “Jala Surman”, “yadegar Jafari”, “Yassin Karimi”, “Heyman Mohammadian”, “Pouria Naseri” all the citizens living in Orumieh and Sanandaj about charges “associated with Kurdish parties opposed system “, were sentenced to long prison terms tolerated. 

According to Human Rights in Iran from the Center for Democracy and Human Rights in Kurdistan, “Jala Surman”, “yadegar Jafari”, “Yassin Karimi”, “Heyman Mohammadian”, “Pouria Naseri”, five citizens of Orumiyeh and Sanandaj ago the revolutionary court for charges of “related parties of the opposition” had been on trial were sentenced to a total tolerance of 5 years imprisonment. 

According to the report, “Jala Surman” resident of the “village of Targvr” Located in Urmia city earlier than this Convicted by the Revolutionary Court of the trial was about alleged “collaboration with one of the parties of the opposition” to bear one-year imprisonment was.

“Jala. Surman”, on 22 July 2019, by security guards at his home in the University  town  located in Urmia was arrested and on 21 August 2019 with a bail of 300 million tomans he was temporarily released from the Intelligence Office’s detention center until his trial.

The “yadegar Jafari”, “Yassin Karimi”, “Heyman Mohammadian” and “Pouria Naseri”, four residents of Sanandaj who had previously been tried by Branch 4 of the city’s Revolutionary Court on charges of “propaganda against the system in favor of one of the Kurdish opposition parties” Each  one of this people was sentenced to 5 years in prison.

The “relic parsley”, “Yassin Karimi”, “Heyman Mohammadian” and “Pouria Naseri”, All of them had been arrested by security forces on 9 July After the interrogation and completion of the case for referral to court on July 5, They were temporarily released on bail until the proceedings were completed. 

Suppression of civilians in Iran is a clear violation of the principles of human rights and suppression of free speech. In  Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights  as well as  Article 19 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights  to the outspoken on the right of individuals to publish their thoughts and ideas regardless of frontiers stressed.

People have the right to a fair hearing by an impartial tribunal such as the mode of emphasis in international human rights instruments as well as Article 10 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights  and  Article 14 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights  adopted on 16 December 1966 as well.
