Human Rights in Iran – Tuesday, July, 7, 2020 / Following the direct firing of security forces in Omidiyeh, Ahvaz, a teenager living in the city, died after suffering severe injuries.
According to Human Rights in Iran, on Monday, July 6, 2020, Omid Eidani, a 17-year-old teenager living in Omidiyeh, Ahvaz, was shot dead by security forces in the city.
Explaining the news, Karim Dahimi, a human rights activist said: “Omid Eidani was targeted by Disciplinary Force and security agents in Omidiyeh, Ahvaz, for unknown reasons, but what has become clear so far is that the forces were looking for the teenager’s motorcycle in pursuit and in the aftermath of the chase, when the teenager arrived at his father’s house, he went to the roof of the house, where he was shot and lost his life.”
Violent acts against citizens and unregulated use of weapons to stop individuals are among the cases that violate the rights of people.
